Founder and Director

In 1998, after ten years devoted to coaching senior executives, Danielle Brunon founded a consultancy firm providing international relations and communications consulting to European decision-makers. Prior to founding BCL communications, she was international communications advisor to one of the five top senior executives of EDF (Directeur Général Adjoint) and then personal advisor for international communications to the Chairman and CEO for over six years.

A dual French and American national, she speaks French, English, Italian and Spanish and can converse in German. She spent seven years in Rome and has also lived in Spain and Latin America. She obtained a BA in European History and French Literature from Columbia/Barnard University in New York and, in 1995, a Masters (DEA) in Comparative Linguistics from the University Paris V – René Descartes, where she taught linguistics until 2000. She holds a degree in Theology from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and obtained a Baccalauréat Canonique de Théologie-Philosophie at the Jesuit University of Paris in 2008. Her current work focuses on communication ethics in a multicultural environment.
