Jacques Rupnik is Research Director at the Centre for International Studies and Research (CERI) and Professor at the Fondation Nationale de Sciences Politiques. Previously he served as advisor to Czech President Vaclav Havel (1992), as Executive Director of the International Commission for the Balkans at the Carnegie Endowment for International peace (1995-1996), as specialist in Eastern Europe at the BBC World Service (1977-1982) and as research associate at the Russian Research Center at Harvard University (1974-1975).
